Hollister United 2 – PAC United 3

The young ladies of Hollister United really turned up the heat against PAC United for this full on tilt battle. The team captains for this game were Megan and Alexandra. United won the coin toss and had control of the ball for the start of the game.

This proved to be a physical game from the start of the whistle. At first there was no real control of the ball or the game with a lot of fast moving back and forth. Slowly PAC United was able to turn up the pressure on Hollister as they moved up field. PAC United was able to shoot the ball and score to lead the game. Hollister, not willing to concede fought hard and PAC United’s goalkeeper made a mistake which led to a penalty kick for Hollister United. Alex took the shot which was perfectly executed flying over PAC United’s wall and into the net to bring the game to a tie. PAC United would come back and make another score before the end of the half to make the sore 2-1.

Right out of the gate for the second half, Hollister was able to blast a score in off a rebound shot from Hannah. United would control this half for the most part, but PAC United would find one more goal before the end of the game.

Hollister United played a very hard game and was awesome out there on the field giving it there all.

Hollister will be traveling to Morgan Hill to play their final regular season game against OV Twisters this Saturday. This is a game you do not want to miss, as this OV team has proven to be a tough and seasoned.
