Hollister United 1 – OV Twisters 3

United played hard as individuals, but they were out of sync as a team. Both team teams played a very strong first half with very little give either way.  Towards the end of the first half the Twisters were able to find goal to put them on the score board first.  Shortly after that score, our very own Deanna was able to score on a break away from mid field.

United’s second half found the offence struggling to keep the ball forward and put a lot a pressure on the defense that was having their own battles to struggle with.  With all of the pressure that the Twisters were putting on United, they were able to score two more times before the time lapsed on the clock.

Speaking with Coach Ted he stated, “This is going to be a rebuilding week for us as we look forward to hosting the tough Almaden Wildcats.”  The Wildcats are 3-0 so far this season.  This will be a very exciting game, I’m sure you won’t want to miss.
